First Sunday of the Month
~ Tea & Philosophy Circle ~
This is a gathering where we come together to explore the branches of Mother Tongue Philosophy and engage in Socratic dialogue (a curated group philosophical discussion) on the Mysteries of life and our times. The field of intelligence available to us when we drop into deep listening and sharing in a sacred circle, widens our horizons of wisdom and perception.
Second Sunday of the Month
~ Dream Circle ~
Ancient and present day indigenous cultures view the dream space as a sacred place we go to connect with higher wisdom. Entire sanctuaries and temples in Khemet (Ancient Egypt) were dedicated to dream space and oneiric oracles. This Community Ritual is a time when we come together to share our dreams and receive dream support and interpretation.
Third Sunday of the Month
~ Body Poetry Dance Class ~
From tribal style bellydance, to North Indian Folk, to emotive free movement, each second Monday we dive into our bodies as portals and temples of expression. We explore the delight in the feminine form in all her shapes and shades. We write love letters to our body and being through our dance. We pray with our body.
Fourth Sunday of the Month
~ Poetry Writing Workshop ~
Words are spells. In this session, we explore the magic of poetry and creative writing to heal our hearts and re-enchant the world around us. Poetry is not reserved for the “poets” in the same way art is not reserved for professional artists. We are each a work of art. Here we dissolve the inner critic and allow our words to take us on a journey of wonder and creative alchemy. Turning pain into poetry. Communicating the incommunicable. Relinquishing perfection. Embracing strangeness. And allowing our creations to create us.
